About Women's Initiative

For nearly 25 years, Women’s Initiative for Self Employment has provided high-potential, low-income women with the training, funding and ongoing support to start their own businesses and become financially self-sufficient. The women who go through our program significantly increase their income and assets while launching businesses, stimulating the local economy and creating jobs. In 2011, recent graduates of the program created and retained more than 5,500 jobs in the Bay Area!
