We are honored to be recognizing William H. Draper III, one of America’s first venture capitalists, for his commitment to supporting early-stage companies all over the world. Draper is the general partner of Draper Richards L.P., a venture capital fund that focuses on early-stage technology companies in the U.S., and Draper International, a venture capital fund that invests in private companies with operations in the U.S. and India. He also serves as co-chairman of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, a venture philanthropy firm founded in 2002 that funds and supports social entrepreneurs.
