Mark Brandemuehl
I joined the real estate industry in October 2005, after a successful career as a marketing executive at leading semiconductor software and capital equipment companies. I am currently Chief Marketing Officer at Movoto, Inc. an internet focused full-service brokerage in Redwood City, CA. We're figuring out how you'll buy real estate in the 21st century - check out our site at http://www.movoto.com.

My previous company was FormFactor, Inc. where I was vice-President of marketing, joining the company in 1998 and driving the growth of the company from $7 million per year to $150 million per year. FormFactor successfully went public in June, 2003.

Prior to FormFactor, I was a marketing and sales executive at KLA-Tencor and at Tyecin Systems, a start-up company in the operations planning and scheduling for global semiconductor firms. I started my career as an IC designer and product engineering manager at Standard Microsystems Corp (read geek).

I'm also active in the non-profit world. My wife Jenny and I founded the Silicon Valley Board of Women’s Initiative in 2005 and I'm also on the organization's governing board. I'm loving it - this is a wonderful, exciting organization and YOU should be involved. By 2010, we're going to help 10,000 women per year become entrepreneurs.

How about education? I got an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. My undergraduate work was done as a Badger at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I got a BSEE, but managed to have a good time too.

In my spare time I fly as a private pilot, tool around the Santa Cruz mountains on my motorcycle, ski, hike and sometimes even spend time with the family.
