Naureen Hassan
Naureen Hassan is the Chief Operating Officer of the Charles Schwab Bank, a $50 billion subsidiary of the Charles Schwab Corporation, and one of the top 40 banks in the United States. She and her team are responsible for the Bank’s lending business, operations, technology and Community Reinvestment Act functions. Naureen is also on the Board of Directors of the Bank. Prior to this role, Naureen was the head of the Client Experience group for Schwab Investor Services, the retail brokerage unit of the company. The Client Experience group was responsible for developing products, services and strategies to meet the needs of the retail client base in order to improve client satisfaction, increase revenue and deliver profitable growth. Naureen joined Schwab in 2003 in the Corporate Strategy group. While in that group, she worked with business leadership to identify and execute projects to grow the business and improve profitability of the entire company.

She has also held roles in Schwab’s Advisor Services business unit including leading the strategy function for the business line and developing the sales operations function. Naureen came to Schwab from McKinsey & Company, where she was an Associate Principal. She counseled CEOs and top management of multi-billion dollar global and national corporations, as well as large foundations and other public institutions. Her areas of expertise included operational performance improvement and healthcare and financial services strategy. She has extensive global experience and was based in London from 2000 to 2003 and Mumbai, India from 1995 to 1996. Naureen holds a BA from Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
