Joan Dea
Joan Dea serves as a corporate director on several public company boards, including Cineplex Inc., Torstar, and Charles Schwab Bank. She is also a dedicated civic leader, and has served as the Co-Chair of Women’s Initiative Gala 2011 and as Vice Chair and Director of the National Ballet of Canada. Joan is the former Executive Vice President, Strategic Management and Corporate Marketing, for BMO Financial Group. BMO Financial Group is the 10th largest financial institution in North America, and includes Bank of Montreal, Harris Bank, BMO Capital Markets and BMO Wealth Management. She is an expert in strategy and organizational change. Her professional experience includes over 20 years of successful operating and general management experience in financial services and management consulting, including her former role as a Partner and Director at Boston Consulting Group. Joan lives in Marin County with her husband and two children.
