This event will raise much-needed funds to support the work of Women’s Initiative in Alameda County. Your attendance will make the dream of business ownership a reality for hundreds of high-potential, low-income women.

The Marketplace of Women’s Initiative graduate businesses opens at 11:30 am. Come early to purchase exquisite jewelry, clothing, and more at the Marketplace. The Marketplace will be followed by a two-course luncheon and awards ceremony at noon to honor:

About Women's Initiative

Women's Initiative for Self Employment is the nation's largest microenterprise training and funding organization. For 24 years we have been providing low-income women with the business training, funding and ongoing support to start their own business and become financially self sufficient. The women who go through our training program significantly increase their income and assets while launching businesses, creating jobs and stimulating the local economy. In 2011, our recent graduates created and retained more than 5,500 jobs in the Bay Area!
